It’s a busy week for West Central Valley athletics. Middle School boys basketball is hosting Guthrie Center this evening, tip off is at 4 pm. Tuesday, middle school boys basketball plays again, this time hosting Woodward-Granger, middle school girls traveling to Woodward, tipoff for both games is at 4 o’clock. The high school volleyball banquet is Tuesday night inside of the high school commons at 6 pm. Jumping ahead to Thursday, middle school basketball hits the court again, boys traveling down I80 to Van Meter, girls staying home to host Van Meter middle school, tip off for both games at 4 pm. Thursday night’s a big night, as high school basketball is officially underway, the girls will head to the Harlan Jamboree, where they will face Griswold at 5:45. And Friday, to end the week, winter sports photos happen at 3 pm, and more middle school basketball, boys heading to Urbandale to face Des Moines Christian, middle school girls will host Des Moines Christian girls, again tip off for both games at 4 pm.
