It’s not often communities are visited by the state poet laureate, let alone multiple times within just a few months.
Mary Swander will make her return to Perry next week to present her piece “Map of My Kingdom” as part of The Farm Succession: Determining Your Legacy program.
It takes place at the Carnegie Library Museum on Wednesday, December 10th.
The program starts at 10am, following the performance attendees will enjoy a lunch at the Hotel Pattee and then hear a presentation from the ISU Extension and Outreach office.
The cost to attend is $15 by this Wednesday, or $20 at the door.
