The Perry Bluejay basketball team will look for their third straight win tonight when they travel to Norwalk to take on the Warriors. Even though Perry’s not shooting the ball well this year, the Blue Jays are 4-1 year  thanks to the pressure that they put on the opposition and their blending of team defense.

“I think I know defensively were doing a much better job through three games than we were a year ago.  We need that to continue. Really you look at our Carlisle win on the road, that was because of our defense. It certainly wasn’t because of our offense that night.  If we can keep being aggressive that will be our key. We’re making lots of live steals  as a stat that I look at when we get a steal and the ball doesn’t go out of bounds or anything and we have a chance to go on score in transition, that’s been pretty solid for us.  I hope we can keep that going to get the chances in the transition game and help our offensive numbers,” added Perry Boys Coach Ned Menke.
The Bluejays and Jayettes will play a doubleheader tonight starting at 6:00 on AM 1310 KDLS with Shawn Kenney.
