Only one member of the Guthrie Center boys varsity basketball team is averaging double digits points per games, and that player is junior Sam Courtney, he’s averaging 10.3 points per game, while making a third of his field goals. Courtney has emerged as the leader in a fairly young team, which includes five freshman. A rebuilding year for the Guthrie Center boys, they sit with a 1-7 record heading into the holiday break.
