We’ve provided a lot of coverage of ADM’s top three wrestlers, and rightfully so. Junior Zach Johnston, the No. 1 ranked 160-pound wrestler in Class 2A, is 21-0. Also ranked in their respective weight classes are senior Trevor Harsh and junior Nathan Heath, who are right behind Johnson with 18 wins a piece.

But those three aren’t the only Tiger Wrestlers impressing so far this season. Head coach Justin Schmauss praised juniors Hunter Gibson and Kyle Wilkerson and sophomore Cole Bennett for wrestling well so far this year, saying the majority of their losses were hard-fought affairs against tough competition.

Bennett is fourth on the team with 15 wins at 182 pounds. Gibson, ranked 10th among 195-pounders, is next with 14 wins. Much lighter at 126 pounds, Wilkerson also has 14 wins.

ADM wrestling doesn’t compete again until Thursday, Jan. 8, when they host a duel against Dallas Center-Grimes.
