West Central Valley boys varsity basketball coach Nick Peasley says he’s disappointed with his team’s 1-6 performance through the winter break so far, but says, they have installed a new defense this year, and when it fires correctly, they’re a lot better, “Yeah, I’m a little disappointed, but not discouraged. I’m disappointed with the season so far. It is a whole new defense we’ve put in. Moments when they actually do it, and it’s ran correctly, it’s very, very successful. It’s a process throughout the whole season.”
The season continues for West Central Valley on Friday night when they head to Woodward to face a 5-3 Woodward Academy team.
