The city of Earlham has issued a boil advisory for its water system, after a water main break at NW 6th St. was repaired yesterday evening. All Earlham residents are advised to bring water to a boil before drinking and cooking, as well as making ice and brushing teeth. This is done to kill any bacteria or possible contaminants in the water. The water may still be used for bathing, and similar purposes. At this point, there’s no time table on how long the boil advisory will be in effect. Stay tuned  to Raccoon Valley Radio for more information on this as it becomes official.
