The Coon Rapids-Bayard High School baseball team is heading to the state tournament. This is Head Coach John Waddle’s fifth trip to state in 32 seasons of coaching the Crusaders. 5th seeded Coon Rapids-Bayard will face 4th seed Martensdale-St. Mary’s in the opening round of the tournament Friday night at Principal Park in Des Moines.
