State Representative Clel Baudler is weighing in on the Republican presidential race.
With nearly five decades of experience serving the people of Iowa as a State Trooper and State Representative, Baudler has more insight into public service than most.
Using his knowledge to analyze Republican candidates, Baudler has found he is not a fan of the front runner Donald Trump. “I’ve studied them (candidates), I’ve listened to them, I’ve met a lot of them. I have not met Donald Trump and to be honest, I won’t. I think he’s a bad joke. I think he’s hurting politics and politicians on both sides of the aisle.”
Baudler believes foreign policy to be an important issue and says there’s one candidate that highly impresses him on that topic. “Carly Fiorina. I think Carly is electable. I think she is tough enough to deal with any of these foreign leaders, including (Russian President) Vladimir Putin.”
Baudler says he’s also a fan of Fiorina’s pro-Second Amendment stance.
