Greene County hosts Perry in a high school basketball girl/boy doubleheader tonight in the middle school gym in Jefferson. Both teams are 0-1 heading into tonight’s non-conference action. Ram head coach Dean Lyons expects pressure defense from the Jayettes and he told Raccoon Valley Radio he expects teams to press the Rams. “Early on we’ve known teams were going to press us, so we’ve worked on the press quite a bit. This last week we’ve been limited due to bad weather, missing practice on Friday and Monday. We did have a scrimmage in Carroll on Saturday with the Tigers and Audubon, and teams pressed us then, so that’ll help. If we have a lot of turnovers it will be tough to win the game.”
