Dallas County Board of Supervisors Meeting Preview

The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will meet tomorrow.

They will discuss payroll change notices and Iowa Communities Assurance Pool renewal.

Additionally, the Board will make appointments for 2016 of official newspapers for publication, official depository, board assignments and eminent domain.

Plus, the Board will discuss a construction evaluation resolution, the human services campus renovation, assigned and unassigned department space and a Sheriff’s office staffing workshop. The meeting will end with a closed session to discuss a pending litigation claim and the purchase of particular real estate.

The meeting begins at 9 a.m. inside of the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room in Adel.
Perry City Council Meeting Preview

The Perry City Council will meet tomorrow night.

Under old business, the Council will consider for approval a resolution for a participation agreement for a pilot program with Drake University, a resolution for an award of competitive quote for a hanger roof rehabilitation project at the airport and possible action on a renewal with the Federal Migratory Bird Depredation permit for turkey vultures.

The Council will then consider several resolutions under new business. Items includes a designated physician policy statement, appointments to standing committees for council members, appointments to several City positions and committees, appointments to the rental code board of appeals and setting a time and place for regular council meetings for 2016.

The meeting will be at 6pm in the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building in Perry.
