With only three days until the Drake Relays qualifying deadline, area teams are scrambling to get student-athletes to run their fastest time and register their furthest throws. Guthrie Center girls track head coach Dave Spratte says it’s an exciting time of year, because everyone wants to go to Drake. “Everybody is trying to qualified for Drake. That’s important for the kids to run down there.”
