A deputy was dispatched to the Casey’s General Store in Grand Junction for a gas drive off. The described vehicle was not located.

A deputy was advised of a vehicle that was experiencing mechanical problems parked east of Grand Junction in the Lions Club Tree Park area.

A deputy, Churdan Rescue and Greene County EMS were all dispatched for a reported two vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of Head and School Streets in Churdan. Colleen Kay Mackey 70, of Churdan, was westbound on School Street when she failed to yield for a south bound vehicle being driven by Grace Marie Cozad 51, of Jefferson. The Cozad vehicle struck the Mackey vehicle at the intersection. Both drivers were transported to the Greene County Medical Center for further medical treatment with non-life threatening injuries. The Mackey vehicle sustained an estimated $10,000 in damages and Colleen Mackey was issued a citation for Failure to Obey a Yield Sign. The Cozad vehicle sustained an estimated $4,500 in damages and Grace Cozad was issued citations for Driving While License Under Suspension and Failure to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.

A deputy was unable to locate the described westbound vehicle that drove away from the Sparky’s One Stop in Jefferson without paying for fuel.

A deputy was dispatched to the 800 block of Hager Street in Grand Junction for criminal mischief to a vehicle.

A deputy was dispatched to the 300 block of 290th Street for a reported suspicious vehicle. The described pickup was not located upon the deputy’s arrival.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
