At approximately 7:06 am Saturday Raccoon River Valley residents felt an earthquake.

Reports came in to Raccoon Valley Radio Network from all over Greene, Guthrie and Dallas counties. The U.S.G.S reports a preliminary magnitude of 5.6 on the Richter scale, and that it originated 14 kilometers northwest of Pawnee, Oklahoma at 7:02 am. Aftershocks may occur.
