To say it’s a big week for West Central Valley Wildcat athletics would be an understatement as all three Wildcat fall sports have big time events.

The week will get started off with West Central Valley volleyball as the Lady Wildcats take on the Van Meter Lady Bulldogs in first round regional play today. The Lady Wildcats are looking to break the three year winless drought against Van Meter squaring off in Van Meter beginning at 7:00 tonight. The winner of tonight’s game earns the right to face off against Tri-Center in Neola on Monday, October 24th.

The West Central Valley Wildcat cross country teams are also involved in a big event. After two solid performances in the West Central Activities Conference meet last week both wildcat cross country teams aim for more when they enter their 2016 state qualifying meet held right back at the Panorama Par 3 Course.
