Organizers of the Midwest Partnership annual dinner are calling the event a success.
Executive Director Sarah Gomez says about 100 people attended the dinner at Lake Panorama National Conference Center on Thursday. The keynote speaker was Dr. Daryl Olsen with Audubon Manning Veterinary Clinic. He spoke about their impact that they have not only on surrounding communities but on the swine industry as well. She explains how they select their guest speaker every for their event.
“We look to the companies that we have in the region and we always want to highlight and showcase what we have here. So that’s kind of been the focus for choosing our speakers for the dinner.”
She also wanted to congratulate this year’s recipients of the Guy Powell and Entrepreneur of the Year awards. The Guy Powell Award went to Ben and Kathy Puck of Puck Custom Enterprises. The Entrepreneur of the Year Award went to Meg and Chad Gleason of Moglea.
