Artwork is flourishing here in Guthrie County. The Guthrie County Arts Council’s Fall Festival is just around the corner, and Art on State has begun their fall programming. However, another program in Stuart has taken place all year. Since January, Turtle Star Studio in Stuart has presented “Artisan Afternoon” artist presentations. Tomorrow from 10am-1pm the series continues with Amanda Mae Crawford of Mae & Co.
Mae & Co. designs and manufactures children’s clothing, including leggings, hoodies, and dresses. Crawford will be demonstrating and presenting their fall line throughout the event. The event features a different artist each month and showcases their talents through a pop-up style display. This event also serves as an artist meet and greet opportunity and includes mini make-and-take workshops.
There will be a free drawing for a $40 gift card good for anything sold by the artist. The event is free and open to the public.
