The first half of the high school wrestling season resumes tonight in Jefferson for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers. The Greene County Rams welcome ADM and the Gilbert Tigers to town for a nonconference triangular. ADM enters the competition 1-1 overall in duals this season. The Tigers bested the North Polk Comets in their season-opening dual, 53-28, last Thursday in Adel. Class 2A’s No. 2 Ballard topped ADM in the second dual of the night, 59-12.

Three ADM wrestlers enter the week with four or more match victories so far this season. Junior Andrew Flora, Class 2A’s No. 2 ranked wrestler at 113 pounds, is the squad’s lone undefeated wrestler at 6-0. Junior Nolan Harsh, the No. 8 ranked wrestler at 152 pounds, posts a 5-1 overall record with his only loss coming against Ballard’s Skyler Noftsger, Class 2A’s No. 1 wrestler at 145 pounds. Sophomore Bryce Holm (120) boasts a 4-2 record with both losses coming at the DCG Mustangs Invitational this past weekend.

Tonight’s varsity triangular begins at 5:30 p.m. at Greene County Middle School. ADM will wrestle in the final two duals of the night and will start against Gilbert roughly 20 minutes after the conclusion of the first dual.
