The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular budgeting session today. Darci Alt, Chief Executive Officer of the Heart of Iowa Region for the Iowa Department of Human Services, will address the Board on utilizing Genesis Development’s custodial services at the County Courthouse.

The Board will then consider for approval a reinstatement of the health insurer fee to the Wellmark premium. The Board will also seek formal action on an excess payment to the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the closing of three urban renewal programs. Those programs include: the 1999 Stuart Ag Park, 1999 Bayard FC, and 2001 Tall Corn Ethanol renewals. The Board will conclude the meeting with a possible closed session regarding the hiring of a facilities manager.

The meeting begins at 9am in the Supervisors’ Room in the Guthrie County Courthouse.
