Today is the last day you can watch a man break everything from bricks to baseball bats for your viewing pleasure.
Steve Carrier’s “Mega Force” program will be held for one last time tonight in Perry, featuring his unique combination of feats of strength and important life lessons. Raccoon Valley Radio asked Carrier what his favorite thing was to break during his show, to which he replied, “I would probably say the bats, it’s kind of one of my things, and I’m fairly decent at (it), you know. And then breaking handcuffs, which I’ll be bringing a pair of steel police handcuffs and locked down. (It) takes 2,000 pounds per square inch to snap out of those bad boys. I don’t always make it, but when I do, it’s kind of cool. You know, the crowd really gets into that. So I’d say between the handcuffs and the baseball bats. I’ll do the bricks and try to break them, but those hurt! You pick and choose your poison, as they say.”
“Mega Force” is free and open to the public, and will be held tonight at 7 p.m. at Crossroads Church in Perry.
