The Stuart City Council will meet in regular session Monday.

West Central Valley Superintendent Dr. David Arnold and School Board President Harry Light will be present to discuss a parking surfacing agreement with the City. The agreement stems from parking enhancements at the town’s athletic complex. The Council will then discuss granting permission to Dallas County Little League to use the east field and t-ball field at the complex. They will then conduct a public hearing on vacating the alley at 623 West Front Street.

Other action items include: a temporary street closure request for an event; an update on Stuart Fire Department officers; declaring an urban renewal area; and general obligation annual appropriation refunding. The meeting will conclude with discussion on a City-wide clean-up event.

The meeting begins at 6:30pm at Stuart City Hall.
