A Democratic candidate for governor will be making a campaign stop in Jefferson tomorrow.

Fred Hubbell is running for the Democratic primary in June. According to his campaign website, Hubbell was the former chair of the Iowa Power Fund and interim director of the Iowa Economic Development Authority. The Greene County Democratic Party is hosting a meet and greet for Hubbell at 11:30am at the Milwaukee Depot in Jefferson. Hubbell is one of six Democrats running for governor. Hubbell will be the fourth Democratic candidate for governor that’s made a stop in Jefferson.

The event is free and open to the public.
