The road back to the Class 2A Girls State Soccer tournament goes through Adel this spring. The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union issues regional pairings for all classes of soccer Friday afternoon. The Tigers learned they’re the top seed in the Class 2A Region 3 bracket which includes the Ballard Bombers, the Boone Toreadors, the Dallas Center-Grimes Fillies, Perry Jayettes, and the Collin-Maxwell Spartans. ADM and Dallas Center-Grimes received byes during the opening round on May 24. ADM hosts the winner of Perry/Collins-Maxwell on May 29 at ADM Stadium. ADM Stadium will host the regional final contest on June 4. Game time for all regional games is 6 p.m. The ADM Tigers girls soccer team posted a 9-1 record prior to this weekend’s Waverly Soccer tournament. The Tigers resumes their season tonight in a Raccoon River Conference road match against the Carlisle Wildcats.
