The Perry boys soccer team will travel to Des Moines today for a 2:30 opening round matchup with top seeded Pella in the 2018 state soccer championships. Perry earned the final seed after upsetting Harlan last weekend 3-1 to punch their ticket to their fourth state tournament in the last five years. The community is invited to the Breakfast with the Bluejays this morning at 9:00 at the Perry Hy-Vee. The Bluejay players and coaches will be recognized and HyVee will serve them breakfast before they head out to Cownie Soccer Complex. The Jays and Dutch will play on field 9 which is the championship field at Cownie. Bleachers are available on that field.
