The National Weather Service reports that Greene, Guthrie and Dallas counties are under a slight risk for severe thunderstorms Wednesday. Potential hazards include heavy rainfall, along with damaging winds and hail. Officials believe that with the threat of heavy rainfall, there maybe the chance for flash flooding locally as well. Our primary coverage area is expected to get between one-half-inch to two-inches of rainfall today. The main threat is expected to occur this afternoon and diminish after sunset.
