Recent rain accumulation from over the weekend and yesterday morning prompted officials at Adel-Desoto-Minburn Community Schools to call off Monday’s Raccoon River Conference baseball and softball contests versus the Ballard Bombers. ADM Activities Director Reece Satre decided to postpone yesterday’s games with the Bombers just after 2:30 p.m. and told Raccoon Valley Radio the games will be made up as part of a varsity doubleheader on Monday, July 2, in Huxley. The No. 4 ADM Softball team returns to the field tonight in Jefferson against the Greene County Rams for a nonconference contest. Live play by play coverage can be heard on Jefferson’s KG 98.9 starting the pregame comments around 7:30 p.m. The ADM baseball team is idle tonight before traveling to Perry for a Raccoon River Conference game versus the Bluejays on Wednesday evening.
