ADM Tigers

This week’s Raccoon River Conference slate starts later than anticipated for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers baseball team (5-6 overall). The Tigers home league contest versus the Ballard Bombers Monday night got postponed due to damp field conditions and forecasted wet weather, the fourth postponement of the summer for ADM baseball. The Tigers spent yesterday at practice and resume their conference season tonight in Perry against the Bluejays. ADM lost to Perry in their first matchup earlier this month, falling 9-7 in Adel on June 1.

ADM has tallied one true victory since the last meeting with Perry, defeating Coon Rapids-Bayard, 10-0, at their tournament on June 2. The Tigers previous game was six days ago in Adel, falling 13-6 to the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs. ADM’s defense allowed seven first-inning runs in the setback. The varsity game between ADM and Perry starts around 7:30 p.m. from Progressive Field in Perry. Live play by play coverage can be heard on Raccoon Valley Radio’s KDLS beginning with the Perry Hy-Vee Pregame Show around 7:20 p.m.
