West Central Valley Wildcat

The six-game losing streak of the West Central Valley baseball team came to an Wednesday night in Greenfield. The Wildcats visited Nodaway Valley Community Schools last night for a nonconference varsity game versus the Wolverines. West Central Valley head baseball coach Justin Keck tells Raccoon Valley Radio the Wildcats topped the Wolverines, 1-0. Keck shares freshman Drew Taylor registered the win on the mound by throwing a two-hit shutout. Junior Carson Wadle provided the lone scoring with a solo home run in the top of the fourth. The win improves the Wildcats to 6-8 overall. West Central Valley baseball resumes their season tonight in Stuart in a nonconference game versus the CAM Cougars.
