City of Perry

The City of Perry has informed the public that they’ve had a water main break today, and they’re currently working to fix the problem.

The Perry Water Department is searching for the exact location of the break, which is in the area of 11th and Warford streets. Until the issue is resolved, residents between 8th and 16th streets may experience low water pressure. The City is recommending people fill and store extra water in pitchers or jugs that may be needed for drinking and cooking purposes through tomorrow.

At this time, no boil orders have been issued by City officials. Anyone with questions or concerns is encouraged to reach out to the Water Department at 515-465-2562.

Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
