The Mercy One Air Ambulance made an appearance in northern Dallas County last night, responding to an incident in Bouton.

The Dallas County Emergency Medical Services Department says they responded to the incident at around 10 p.m. Tuesday, on reports of a female suffering a substantial injury. Sources say the injury resulted from the individual using a homemade zipline. The identity of the female, as well as the circumstances of the incident and severity of the injuries are unknown at this time. Dallas County EMS treated the individual at the scene, and she was taken by air ambulance to Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, Woodward Police Department, and Bouton First Responders also responded to the incident. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it’s made official.
