As we move into the next week of the Kids Summer Reading Program at the Jefferson Library, here’s what’s coming up for the week of July 9th.

On Monday will be the start of the weekly craft “Fish on a Plate.” The weekly Lunch and a Movie continues on Tuesday with a showing of the “Jetsons: The Movie” from noon to 1:30pm. Attendees are encouraged to bring a sack lunch and a drink and the library will provide free pop and popcorn. Finally on Wednesday will be a special program called “Shake, Shimmy and READ!” which will allow kids to make junkyard instruments. All activities relate to this year’s theme of “Libraries Rock!”

Summer reading participants are reminded to continue to fill out their activity packets and read throughout the program for chances to win prizes and be the grand prize winner of a new bicycle.
