Panorama-Panthers-Picture112The Panorama School Board met in regular session Monday.

The main focus of discussion was in regards to the soccer sharing agreement with Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center. Superintendent Shawn Holloway thinks it will probably be a good move for both districts, but he and the rest of the Board want to make sure every detail has been accounted for before finalizing the agreement.

“It had been about a year since our Board of Directors really talked about soccer. This was our first year and we felt like it went well. We had decent numbers for both boys and girls. What I asked the Board is what questions (they) had (and) what information (I could) bring to (them) next month to be able to make a sound decision.”

Holloway says the Board will continue the discussion in August, before coming to a formal decision in September. Other action items approved by the Board include: the second reading of a set of Board policies, Iowa Association of School Boards legislative priorities, Dominique Bryant as business official and treasurer for the current fiscal year, official depositories, and official publications.
