An Adair Man was arrested on a warrant for felony sexual abuse this past weekend.

According to the Adair County Sheriff’s Office, 32-year-old Matthew James Hopes was arrested for second degree sexual abuse, a Class B Felony. According to court documents, the warrant was in the second degree as the alleged victim was under the age of twelve. Hopes is currently being held at the Adair County Jail on an undetermined bond amount.
