The boil advisory in effect for many Xenia Rural Water customers in northern Dallas County has officially been lifted.
Wednesday morning, the water company placed green tags on the customers’ doors that were affected by the advisory, letting them know of the all clear. The advisory stemmed from maintenance performed Monday, which caused a temporary interruption of service. Xenia got positive results back from bacterial testing following the outage, signaling an end for the need for customers to boil their water before consumption.
