A Yale man was recently charged with felony sexual abuse in Ankeny.

According to court documents, 67-year-old Jeffrey Stuart McDivitt was charged with four Class C felonies, including two counts of enticing a minor under the age of thirteen and two counts of lascivious acts with a child. He was also charged with two counts of indecent contact with a child, both aggravated misdemeanors.

Sources indicate McDivitt allegedly abused two different children at a residence in Ankeny between June of 2017 and August of 2018. McDivitt bonded out of the Polk County Jail for $44,000 and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, August 28th.
