Last Friday’s season opener for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers varsity football team featured many defensive tackles behind the line of scrimmage. The Tigers recorded 11 solo tackles for loss and one sack in ADM’s 17-7 victory over the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays. Junior defensive lineman Kaden Sutton made four total tackles behind the line of scrimmage to lead ADM. Junior Tom Boorn made a pair of tackles for loss while five other Tiger players made a single tackle behind the line of scrimmage. Only the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays have more tackles for loss in Class 3A football currently, stopping ADM 14 times behind the line of scrimmage. ADM continues their nondistrict schedule tomorrow night at home against the Perry Bluejays.
