The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Guthrie and Dallas counties at 7:30am. There was confirmed heavy rainfall, lightning and over 58-miles-per-hour winds, along with hail reported in Menlo. The warning expired in Guthrie County just before 8am, and it dropped in Dallas County around 8:15. There were no immediate reports of damage following the storms. There were three Raccoon Valley Radio staff members, along with Weather Eye meteorologists that were involved in the latest severe weather incident.

The National Weather Service has Greene, Dallas and Guthrie counties under a marginal risk for severe weather through Saturday night. Primary threats of severe weather for the rest of the day today include high and possibly damaging winds, heavy rainfall of up to another one-inch in most places locally, and large size hail.
