perry chamber

The Perry Chamber of Commerce is very active at the moment, which is evidenced by the fact they are holding two ribbon cutting events with two different businesses in less than a week.

Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says the first event will be held September 5th, where they will welcome Wayde Burkhart with Iowa Realty. Since Burkhart doesn’t have offices in Perry, the ribbon cutting will be held at the Chamber office in the Towncraft Building at 10 a.m. Just five days later on September 10th, there will be another ribbon cutting, this time for Hatmaker Plumbing Supply. The business is located in the East Perry Plaza by Stokely Lumber, and the event will be held there starting at 9 a.m. Refreshments will be provided at both events, and the public is encouraged to attend.

Pasutti is excited to host two ribbon cuttings in quick succession, as she sees that as a positive trend for the Chamber. “It just seems like there’s a lot of activity going on in Perry right now, with new businesses coming on board or folks wanting to be joining the Chamber because they can see new and different things happening. What I love about ribbon cuttings is that it gets people to the business and they can actually see what’s inside, they can meet the owners, and just really get a feel for this new business.”
