One sport in the Fall isn’t enough for Greene County High School junior Tieryn Tucker. She’s a cross-country runner and a football cheerleader. Raccoon Valley Radio caught up to her (not while she was running or cheering) and asked her what prompted her to do both, and how does she make it work. “I like cheering and running, and I’ve done cross-country in the past, and I thought it’d be fun to try both out. It’s kind of easy to manage it with Study Halls and they don’t contradict each other.”

Tucker and her cross-country teammates will run tomorrow in the Panorama Invitational at Lake Panorama. It’s a large coed middle school and high school meet.

Friday, Tieryn and her cheer teammates make the trip to Gilbert for the Greene County football vs. the Tigers. Coverage on KG98 and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com starts at 6:30 p.m. Friday with kickoff at 7:30 p.m.
