The Iowa Association of Track Coaches released their latest team and individual rankings Tuesday afternoon, and a pair of Adel-Desoto-Minburn sophomore boys made Class 3A’s top 30 runners list. The organization rated Nate Mueller, a 2017 state medalist, as the fourth best runner in the field. Ethan Jurgens also found his name on this week’s individual poll as the 23rd ranked runner in Class 3A. Both athletes competed in the 44th annual Tom Karpan Invitational Tuesday afternoon hosted by West Des Moines Valley. Jurgens left the event with a medal, finishing 11th overall with a time of 17:32. Mueller placed 65th overall at 18:44. The Tigers cross country teams will resume their season this Monday, hosting the annual ADM Cross Country Invitational at the Hillcrest Country Club in Adel.
