The 2018 midterm general election will be on Tuesday, November 6th, but there will be several opportunities to vote ahead of Election Day.

Early voting opens this Monday, and the Dallas County Auditor’s Office will be offering satellite voting locations on several occasions before November 6th. Voters can cast absentee ballots at any one of the stations. The first satellite location will be at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Waukee on October 18th. Following that, they will be at Ignite Sports and Fitness in Grimes on October 22nd. The next date will be October 23rd at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in West Des Moines. The Auditor’s Office will then be at the Public Safety Building in Perry on October 25th. Finally, there will be a satellite location on October 27th at Heartland Presbyterian Church in Clive. Each of the first four satellite locations will be open from 2-8 p.m., while the one in Clive will be from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Additionally, people can vote between 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. weekdays at the Auditor’s Office in downtown Adel between October 8th and November 5th. However, they will also have special hours throughout the month leading up to Election Day. The Auditor’s Office will be open specifically for absentee voting on October 18th, 22nd, 23rd, and 25th from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., and October 27th and November 3rd from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
