A top 10 ranked opponent closes out the Raccoon River Conference season tonight for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers varsity volleyball team (11-16 overall; 3-3 RRC). ADM welcomes Class 4A No. 8 Bondurant-Farrar (25-2 overall; 5-0 RRC) to Adel for a best of five games league contest. Tonight is the last home match for Tiger seniors Jordyn Crow and Briann Powers.

The Tigers and Bluejays shared the Raccoon River Conference championship last fall and met for the first time this season on Saturday at the Pella Volleyball Tournament. ADM lost to Bondurant-Farrar in straight sets (14-21, 11-21). Junior Josi Lonneman led ADM with six kills against the Bluejays. Powers made six digs defensively. Senior Kate Tidman led Bondurant-Farrar with 11 kills. ADM is set to face Bondurant-Farrar in the Knoxville Volleyball tournament this Saturday and could face the Bluejays again in the postseason tournament if they win their opening round match next Tuesday at Winterset. Tonight’s league contest between ADM and Bondurant-Farrar serves at 7 p.m. in Adel.
