A former Jefferson and Bagley man, who is accused of killing an Iowa State University student, had his arraignment hearing delayed to next week.
According to court documents, 22-year-old Collin Richards had a motion granted to delay his arraignment hearing at the Story County Courthouse pushed back from October 8th to October 15th. Richards is charged with a Class A Felony for the first degree murder of Celia Arozamena. Law enforcement found the victim’s body in a pond off of the ninth hole of the Coldwater Golf Links in Ames on Monday, September 17th. Richards, who is homeless, was arrested by authorities after finding evidence near the scene. Richards is being held in Story County Jail on a $5 million cash-only bond.
