The final week of the regular season sees the Panorama Panthers varsity volleyball team staying close to home. Panorama closes the West Central Activities Conference season with a pair of home matches including tonight against the Woodward-Granger Hawks. The Des Moines Christian Lions will visit Panora on Thursday for Panorama’s senior night match. Panorama’s 14 regular season match wins are double the amount the Panthers recorded last fall. Their latest came Thursday in Guthrie Center, a four-set victory over the AC/GC Chargers (21-25, 25-23, 26-24, 25-21). Seniors Brooke Halterman and Morgan Johnk each tallied 16 kills while senior Kennedy Kuta dished out 35 assists against the Chargers.

Woodward-Granger has put together a strong second half of their season. The Lady Hawks have won 10 of their last 12 matches after starting the season with a 5-7 overall record. Woodward-Granger topped the Madrid Tigers last Tuesday in WCAC action, winning in straight sets (25-12, 25-9, 25-10). The varsity match between Panorama and Woodward-Granger serves tonight at 7 p.m. in Panora.
