Dallas Supervisors 8-7

The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.

First on the agenda is the latest update from the Samuels Group and Design Alliance on the progress of the new law enforcement center. The Board will also consider the ninth pay application, which includes payments made to 11 different contractors for work completed so far. Following that, they will continue conversation tabled from last week about an amended user agreement with Xenia Rural Water for the facility. Also continued from last week, the Board will have more discussion on a 28E agreement with the Metropolitan Planning Organization.

Other items on the agenda include: requests to abate mobile home taxes and real estate taxes; a wetland mitigation credit purchase; a vehicle purchase request for the Sheriff’s Office; and possibly more discussion on the service coordinator position for area 1A of the Healthcare Coalition. Finally, the Board will consider a restructure request from the Treasurer’s Office. The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
