The Perry City Council will convene Monday evening in regular session.
The items in old business each relate to recently completed and pending City projects. First, there is a change order for the Willis Avenue Bridge construction, followed by a pay request for the Wiese Park Trail improvements. There will then be a change order, pay request, and certificate of completion for the sanitary sewer improvements project. In new business, the Council will consider an application from the Perry Grand 3 Theater for an urban renewal loan for a server replacement. Also related to urban renewal, the Council will approve the fiscal year 2018 annual urban renewal report.
Other items on the agenda include: a resolution to approve installation of a three-foot fence in the City’s right of way for the downtown Wobbly Boots restaurant; appointments to the Planning and Zoning Commission and Historic Preservation Commission; setting a public hearing on entering into a loan and disbursement agreement for a sanitary sewer extension; and a series of resolutions approving the surface and overhead aviation and offer to purchase in the vicinity of the Perry Municipal Airport.
Finally, the Council will have the first reading of an amendment to the City’s flood plain ordinance. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Monday in the Clarion Room at Perry City Hall.
