The Jefferson Police Department recently released the statistics from the latest special Traffic Enforcement Program (sTEP) Wave.

According to the press release, from November 18th through the 25th, officers issued 17 citations and 90 warnings. The most citations were given for speeding with four and the most warnings that were issued were 24 for vehicle equipment violations. Other citations included: vehicle equipment violation, no proof of insurance, registration violation, driving with a suspended or revoked license, stop sign or stop light violation, driving without a license and having a .02 blood alcohol concentration level.
