Greene County is 0-3 on the young girls’ basketball season and cold shooting is one reason why. First year head coach Tyler Westhoff’s team has made just 19% of its shots from the field in the first three contests. The Rams have actually made a higher percentage of three-point shots than from two-point range, but neither figure is considered good. Greene County is making 50% of its free throw attempts, but the Rams have gotten to the line just 18 times, or six times a game.

Gilbert plays the Rams in Jefferson tonight in the middle school gym. The Tigers are 1-3 overall and 0-1 in the league and all three losses are to highly rated teams.

Coverage begins on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com at 5:45 pm. with the girls playing at 6 p.m. and the boys to follow.
