For the fourth time in as many games, the Greene County girls’ produced little offense and the Rams fell to 0-4 on the season. Gilbert was a 55-21 Heart of Iowa Activities Conference winner on Tuesday night in Jefferson in action heard on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. The Rams trailed 12-3 after one quarter, 32-11 at halftime, and 44-13 at the end of the third quarter. The Tigers led by as many as 37 points late in the game with the continuous clock going into effect. The Rams are 0-2 in the conference while the Tigers improved to 1-1 in the league and 2-3 overall.

Senior Hannah Thatcher scored 13 points for Gilbert. Junior Kassie Lamoureux and sophomore Lily Muir each had five points for the Rams. Greene County had 27 turnovers and took just 23 shots from the floor, making only six. The Rams were six of 12 shooting free throws. Gilbert went 23 of 56 from the field and eight of 16 from the foul line.
