Three special elections will be taking place in Guthrie County this coming Tuesday.

Two elections will be happening in Rural Improvement Zones (RIZ) at Lake Panorama and Diamondhead Lake. Larry Petersen is running unopposed for a three-year term as trustee for the Lake Panorama RIZ, and polls will be open from noon until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Lake Panorama Administration Office. Ronald Baiotto is running unopposed for a three-year term as trustee for the Diamondhead Lake RIZ, and polls will be open from noon until 8 p.m. at the Long Branch Maintenance Corporation.

A third election will be happening for residents in the Coon Rapids-Bayard School District to adopt a measure that would change the election of the Board of Directors from electing seven directors as residents of six director districts and one director at-large to a method in which all seven would be elected to serve at-large for the entire school district. Polls will be open for Bayard residents from noon until 8 p.m. at the Bayard Public Library.
